Workers of Imo State have continued to celebrate the defeat of the rescue mission government in the March 9th guber and House of Assembly election.
The civil servants at Imo Secretariat located along Owerri PortHarcourt road were physically seen jubilating and dancing around the secretariat complex on Tuesday morning.
Our reporter who visited the place observed workers at the state secretariat and Imo House of Assembly dropped the white and black dress code introduced by Governor Rochas Okorocha and resolved to come to work with their Christmas cloths.
Some of them who spoke to our reporter submitted that the defeat of Chief Uche Nwosu, Okorocha’s son in-law in the guber poll brought the end of the Dress code introduced by the Rescue Mission Government.
The workers insisted that should be disgraced out of office for maltreating Imo civil servants and pensioners.
One of the aggrieved workers said he burnt his own Black and White uniform over the weekend adding that he will only remember governor Okorocha for his wickedness and for Dress Code.
