It was former President Olusegun Obasanjo who popularized the saying, “I de laugh ooo”. Yes, POPULAR SIDE laughed when news filtered the air that former House of Reps member, Chief Tony Eze Okere has been kidnapped. Why was POPULAR SIDE laughing? POPULAR SIDE had to laugh because the kidnappers may have missed their target by going after Okere. Since he left House of Reps in 2003, nothing has come his way expect a month solad in Ohaji/Egbema LGA and a two – year position as Special Adviser to former Governor Ohakim on Niger Delta Affairs. If the kidnappers had known that Okere is being owed two months salaries, April and May 2011 and severance gratuity they would not have abducted him. The man is jobless, no cash flow. Except the want to suffer him, in detention, the action is worthless as Okere even needs money more than his abductors.
POPULAR SIDE is requesting for his release please.
