The Senator Rochas Okorocha backed Daniel Nwafor and factional Chairman of the Imo state All Progressives Congress, APC has cried out to the former governor of Imo State over paucity of funds to rent a secretariat and run the party activities in the state.
Nwafor who made this passionate appeal to Senator Okorocha recently at Vision House  Owerri said Rochas Political family  risks losing supporters from the state if nothing is done to end it soon .
Nwafor complained bitterly that the party executives and faithful  in Imo State have been abandoned to their fate ,adding that they have been using their personal money to fund the party without grants from Senator Okorocha ends  .
He explained that the tactical manner in which the senator is going about it needs to be re-examined . Even when Party leaders had a meeting in Owerri , they went home disgruntled.
According to him, “Something has to be done fast before our teeming members are demoralised and forced to abandon their political family.
Briefing newsmen shortly after the meeting Nwafor added that until the eyes of the Orlu zone senator is opened to the realities, this kind of subtle, but frustrating reactions which would lead to failure will not stop.
He said ,”nobody is funding the party and I’m not happy about this ugly development . Can you imagine that Okorocha abandoned me ,the authentic chairman of APC?
Reacting to Nwafor’s lamentation, Senator Okorocha told him to be appreciative that he single handedly made him.
