Party Membership wahala! Group defends Imo Speaker, Uwajumogu .He is a liar-says PDP

A Group called Imo Initiative has reacted to the publication by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, that the Speaker of Imo House of Assembly, Rt Hon Benji Uwajumogu was an unhonourable man, not a member of PDP and therefore should resign from his position.

In a press release made available to Imo Trumpeta, the Group maintained that after a thorough investigation, it discovered that Uwajumogu is still a member of the PDP.

“Imo Initiative discovered that Speaker Uwajumogu is still a member of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and did not at any time decamp to the All Progressive Grand Alliance” the Group

said.

The Group also disclosed that Uwajumogu was not only a Graduate, but holds a Masters Degree in Sciences. It also said that he has elevated the affairs of Imo House of Assembly to greater heights since he assumed office, due to his sound mind and activism.

The Group accused Chief Blyden Amajirionwu, the Spokesman of the PDP in Imo state of being propelled by personal agrandisement.

However, in his reaction, the PDP Publicity Secretary, Chief Blyden Amajirionwu maintained that Uwajumogu has no certificate that qualifies him for his present position as Speaker of Imo House of Assembly.

He stressed that PDP stands by its repeated assertion that Uwajumogu ceases to be member of PDP the day he was inaugurated as Speaker in a House dominated by APGA members.

Amajirionwu said that it was unfortunate that rather than address the issues raised, Uwajumogu is busy using fictitious faceless Groups to release frivolous publications, abandoning the main meat of the matter, pointing out that if Uwajumogu is real, he should use authentic fake Groups that have addresses
