The member, representing Okigwe Federal Constituency in Imo House of Assembly, Hon Acho Ihim has denied media reports that the Assembly is broke.
Speaking to newsmen in his office, Ihim said it is not true that the House is broke,
“If the House is broke, then both the Federal and State governments are broke. It is mischievous for anyone to write that the House is broke” he said. He continued “This is a government that brought out ten billion Naira the other day to pay contractors then why will someone use his pen to write that the House is broke” He cautioned the press crew of the Imo House of Assembly to cross check their facts before publication.
