The Eze of Umuanunu Autonomous community in Obinze, Owerri West LGA, HRH Eze G.I Ejimogu has pledged 50% of his salary to aid the take off of the Community Council Government in his area.
Eze Ejimogu made the pledge at a prayer summit for the community which took place at Ama-Nkwama market in Umuanunu, Obinze on May 6th, 2012.
He said his pledge is in support for the initiative and to aid the successful take off of the community council government in Obinze.
He called on his people to support the Okorocha administration’s developmental plans.
The Umuanunu Autonomous community held the prayer summit to thank God for protecting his people and for actualizing their elevation to an autonomous – status.
The prayer summit attracted the presence of the oldest man in the community, Mr Boniface Igwe and Sir Papa Nwosu and prominent sons of the community.
