As abductors remain incommunicado after collecting N5m Ransome.
The fate the former member who represented Obowo state constituency Hon. Nwagwu Dan is turning from worse to worst if reports reaching our newsroom are anything to go by.
Hon. Dan Nwagwu who was kidnapped on Jan 29, 2013 by unknown abductors have remained incommunicado alongside his captives after they collected N5 million for his release. There are feelers from Nwagwu family that the former Majority Leader is no more since those who kidnapped him have refused to discus or interact with the family after they collected N5m cash from them as ransome.
The kidnappers initially demanded for N30m but agreed to take N5m which was made available to them for the release.
However, since the money was paid, the kidnappers no longer get in touch with the family and efforts to reach them or talk with the held Nwagwu proved abortive fuelling speculations that the lawmaker may have been killed.
The Nwagwu’s are worried and helpless about the fate of their brother who has spent three weeks with the men of the underworld.
Meanwhile, gunmen who kidnapped a staff of the House of Assembly, Chibuzor Onuoha has demanded for N150m before her release. Onuoha who was kidnapped on Sunday is a level 12 officer in the Sergeant at Arms office was picked on her way to Church.
