Uzodimma, Wike Rift Enters Another Stage in Abuja
… FCT Ministers Reportedly Snubs Imo Governor During President Tinubu’s Campaign Council Inauguration
The seeming frosty relationship between Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma and FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike has moved to another crescendo on Wednesday during the Inauguration of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu campaign council for 2027 election.
It would be recalled that the two politicians have been involved in war of word recently over issues related to APC and Rainbow coalition ahead of the 2027 election.
Uzodimma, who is the chairman of the APC governors forum had led his colleagues to kick against the interest of the Rainbow coalition which focuses on supporting candidates of other parties not APC alongside President Tinubu in the coming election.
After the exchange of words which saw Wike return words against Uzodimma, the stage took another turn in Abuja.
While trying to acknowledge the presence who-is-who at the high table during the Inauguration, Wike reportedly shunned the hand-shaking gesture with Uzodimma while extending to others.
A video clip circulating online Trumpeta witnesses showed where Wike bypassed the Imo State governor and shook hands with others.
The exposure of the incident further highlights the underground disagreement rocking followers and supporters of President Tinubu before
the 2027 election.
