THAILAND FARMERS IN IMO FOR 4TH TIER

An indication that the 4 tier government, otherwise known as Community Government Council, CGC, is very dear to the state expertrate farmers are in the state to inculcate their farming system in the various autonomous communities.

The state governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha made this known recently during a media chat with publishers in the state. The governor who requested for media support in the promotion of the CGC, stated that theThailandfarmers are in the state to start the agricultural revolution in all the autonomous communities in the state.

Owelle Rochas Okorocha noted that despite the misgivings about the introduction of community government, it is a good model that will better the lives of Imo people especially people at the grassroot level taking into consideration the end result due to the people.

The governor said that the fourth tier is a model all states and even Nigerians will copy adding that his government is sincere in providing dividends of democracy to the people.

Imo Trumpeta observed theThailand farmers discussing with the various stakeholders ranging from Commissioners, and Permanent Secretaries inside the newly renovated multi – purpose hall.

TheThailandfarmers, sources disclosed would be sent to various communities to teach the people on modern farming and agricultural practices.
