Uncertainty and fear of the unknown is ravaging the Chairman and Board Members of the Imo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, ISOPADEC as Governor Rochas Okorocha wields the big stick against them.
There have been unconfirmed rumours making the round that the government agency will face the dissolution hammer any moment. The dissolution of the entire State Exco by Okorocha sparked off fears in the minds of the Commission Members who had in the past faced several sack threats.
The sack fever intensified this week when one of the Board Members and Commissioner incharge of finance, Chief Gibson “Oyiga” Achonwa Njemanze was handed another appointment by Governor Okorocha as Mayor of Owerri Zone. Oyiga’s appointment sent shivers down the spines of the board members who felt that the game is up again as their days are numbers.
