OZOPOLF Flags Off Winner Formular Meeting

Owerri Zone Political Leaders Forum (OZOPOLF) has flagged off a winner formular meeting. The Initiative attracted members of the association from the five South East states and some South South states in Nigeria.
The convocation which took place on Sunday 22nd September, 2013 at the residence of coordinator, Prince Charles Amadi, focused on Owerri Zone governorship aspiration come 2015.
Prince Amadi, the leader of OZOPOLF, at the meeting disclosed that the time has come for Owerri Zone to produce the next Governor of Imo State, stressing that they have not come to criticize the Governor of Imo state Owelle Rochas Okorocha, but to advice him to start packing his luggages out of Government House, Owerri ahead of 2015, adding that Orlu Zone has ruled Imo state for 12 years, while Okigwe zone has ruled the state for 9 years from the time of Mbakwe to Ohakim . He stressed that Owerri zone has governed the state for less than 2 years. “We maintain that on Imo Charter of Equity OZOPOLF stands”, concluded Prince Amadi.
Barr Kingsely Ononuju, the National Secretary of OZOPOLF, while speaking to newsmen after the event revealed that OZOPOLF is a pressure force and not a political party whose agenda and business is to ensure that an Owerri Zone indigene occupy Douglas House come 2015, stressing that they have been able to sensitize and mobilize their people through door to door sensitization. According to him, adding that OZOPOLF is cruising into the next level by telling their members where they are at present and where the are going.
