Governor Rochas Okorocha, Tuesday, announced new Commissioner Nominees as part of efforts to enlarge the State Executive Council. The Governor had earlier announced new Commissioner Nominees which were cleared by the Imo State House of Assembly recently.
Among those newly nominated as Commission include Barr. Iheukwumere Alaribe (Aboh Mbaise), T O E Ekechi (Ngor Okpala), Mrs Adora Ijezie (Isiala Mbano), Dr Edward Onyemaechi Ihejirika (Ikeduru) and Hon Val Mbamara (Orsu).
In what appears a follow-up to the appointments, the Imo State Government yesterday released names of Councilors appointed for the 305 Councilors in the 305 Wards in Imo State.
Most of the Councilors are members of the Governor’s Agenda group, while some came from members of the Imo State House of Assembly.
