On Monday 23/7/2012, The Executive chairman of OWMC municipal council chief Sir Emma N. Odor paid an unscheduled visit to Emekuku and Relief Markets respectively.
On his arrival with his entourage, the Chairman was given a solidarity welcome by the Traders and Market Union members.
The Chairman also seized the opportunity to inspect the on going building projects (lock up shops) in Eke Ukwu Owerri Market and Relief Markets respectively.
In their response, the traders thanked the Executive Chairman of Owerri Municipal council and also promised to support the Hon Odor led administration in the municipal. They also pledged their unflinching support to his administration.
The executive chairman was accompanied on the visit with his supervisors and aides.
