Rotary Club of Aladinma-Owerri Marks October Community Economic Development Month
…. Empowers Small Local Businesses.
The members of Rotary club of Aladinma-Owerri in commemoration of the October Economic and Community Development Month has conveyed their special October Message to mark the 2026 event.
According to a press statesman signed by the Club President for the 2026 – 2027 year Rtn. Chinenye Uche it reveals .
” October offers us another opportunity to reflect on one of Rotary’s most impactful areas of focus: *Community Economic and Development.* It reminds us that meaningful service goes beyond meeting immediate needs; it involves empowering people, strengthening communities, creating opportunities and building sustainable livelihoods.
As Rotarians, we are called to be catalysts for positive change. Through vocational training, support for small businesses, financial literacy, youth empowerment and community-based initiatives, we can help individuals achieve self-reliance and enable families to build more secure futures.
As we pursue our goals this Rotary year, let us move beyond good intentions to measurable impact. Let every project we undertake reflect our commitment to service, sustainability and the dignity of those we serve. Let us also continue to strengthen our Club through fellowship, active participation and purposeful engagement.
*The true measure of our success is not merely what we accomplish as a Club, but the difference we make in the lives of others.*
May this October inspire us to think boldly, serve intentionally and work together to create lasting change in our communities.
Together, let us continue to *Unite for Good*, because when we empower people, we transform
communities”
