Imo Governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha has declared that his second tenure will be a payback time as only the best among the Rescue Mission group will make the list of his appointees.
The Governor made this known at Imo Government House during the swearing in of key Government officials who were newly appointed.
According to the Governor many of the past appointees soiled their hands while trying to please their family members.
He also insisted that he will reward those that did very well in his first term and weed out the bad eggs.
He however maintained that he will look into the performance of Rescue Mission officials during the last election as those who failed woefully in their boots will not work with him in the new dispensation.
A source further hinted that Governor Okorocha has been under pressure to release the list of the rest of the government appointees since after the announcement of his key principal appointees.
Information available to our news desk reveals that the Governor is paying deaf ears to all suggested names insisting that nobody will dictate for him who to chose or not .
He however advised his lieutenants to stay clear on the issue of the appointment list.
