A new Police Commissioner has been posted to Imo police state command. He is Mr Adisa Baba Bolantan. He succeeds the former Imo Police Commissioner who has been promoted to the officer of Assistant Inspector – General of Police AIG.
Giving the directive atAbuja, the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Abubakar, urged the affected officers to ensure an effective policing of their assigned jurisdictions.
In a statement yesterday by the Deputy Force Public Relations Officer, Mr Frank Mba, the Police Commissioners were implored to serve as agents of positive change in the state, as regards the security of life and property of Imo citizens.
