The Owerri Municipality has been thrown into uncontrollable tears as the Government forced Traders to close shops along Ama JK, Mbaise Road, Royce Road, Christ Church, Tetlow, Okigwe Road, Old Market Road, Amawusa and its environs crippling economic activities.
Based on the recent development in Owerri to the capital city of the state, government and her agents with youths of Ohaji have ordered traders to go to Ohi and any other market to sale their goods to avoid government destroying their goods.
Trumpeta learnt that the state Governor, Rochas Okorocha himself was personally going round, the markets and its environs locking up people shops with his own keys and his aides and thugs from Ohaji were busy destroying people’s goods without mercy.
The demolition has made Imolites to shed tears and become in state of confusion since Monday the exercise started in the Owerri Municipality.
