Entrepreneur cum philanthropist, Hon. Ambassador Chimezie Njoku has congratulated the children on the occasion of this years children’s day celebration tagged, “Creating Safe Space For Children: Our Collective Responsibility”.
The Imo State House of Assembly hopeful for Aboh Mbaise and founder Chizet Foundation stated this recently in a chat with journalists at his country home (Njoku’s Villa) in Umuanuma Nguru, Aboh Mbaise LGA, Imo State where he hosted children from the area.
The President General Imo State Union South Africa (ISUSA), Hon. Njoku described children as God’s gift to families and assets to Nation building. He noted that children as future leaders of every society, they are therefore the focal point of any countries development index.
The youthful and dynamic leader admonished children on the needs and benefits of being obedient, respectful, God fearing and hard work as he also charged them to avoid bad company or peer groups that will jeopardize their future.
Hon Njoku called on government and all relevant bodies to initiate policies and programmes that would effectively prepare the children on the tasks ahead for sustainable development and growth of the society.
He however called on parents, guidance and Teachers to always inculcate the good morals and other societal norms and values into their children for the interest of the society as he wished children in the state and beyond a happy children’s day celebration.
