Ohaji/Egbema, Oguta, Oru West Constituents Happy With Opiah, Backs 2nd Term

Chances of Rt Hon Goodluck Nanah Opiah witnessing a second tenure in the House of Representatives have increased with people of his Federal Constituency elated at his performance rate and delivery of democracy dividends.

Opiah is representing Ohaji/Egbema, Oguta, Oru West Federal Constituency.

People of the Federal Constituency have given the former Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly a pass mark by endorsing him to continue in 2019.

The constituents made their feelings known as the affirmed their support to him to run again come 2019.

What however caused the support to Opiah is the legislative landmarks he has bequeathed the people in the three LGAs since he became their voice in Abuja in 2015.

A sign of the support emerged when Opiah picked his form to run again for the position under APC.

Moments after he picked the form, not less than 90 persons cut across the three LGAs came to sign the forms for endorsement to enable him return it.

Opiah, according to records made available to Trumpeta shows he has proved his mettle in the House through effective representation in form of presentation of motions and Bills, oversight functions and attraction of projects. In the history of representation, no representative has scored such a mark like Opiah.

It would be recalled that Opiah last week picked and submitted nomination forms to run for the House of Reps.
