The news of Direct Primaries instead of indirect as earlier agreed by the Rescue Mission camp has brought shivers down the spines of Okorocha’s followers as primaries of APC draw nearer. There is serious panic in Imo State Government House, Owerri, as many are afraid that the Direct primaries they voted against in place of Indirect primaries will work against them. The faction of Okorocha who met earlier to adopt indirect primaries has reportedly succumbed to the decision of the National Working Committee (NWC), to make use of direct primary method for things to work well to avoid the wrath of the party. Trumpeta exclusively learnt that Okorocha’s group has finally agreed. Those who spoke to our reporter at APC state secretariat located close to IMSU round about, Owerri lamented that the Rescue Mission team has been taken unawares, adding that the news came to them as a surprising package as it have now disorganized the existing plan of the governor.
