A loser in the primaries of the APC organized few weeks ago for National Assembly candidates of the party, Mr Kingsley Uju has gone to court challenging the outcome prompting the winner and member representing Ohaji/Egbema, Oguta, Oru West Federal Constituency, Rt Hon Goodluck Nanah Opiah to get the services of two Senior Advocates of Nigeria, SAN, for the case.
Uju who could not sail through to pick the ticket rushed to court to seek a redress. In the suit No FHC/ABJ/18/1200/18, in the Federal High Court of the Abuja Division, among other things sought an order that Opiah be rejected and should not be paraded as APC candidate for the Federal Constituency.
But sources disclosed that Opiah has sourced for the services of two SANs, (names withheld) to match Uju on the matter after it was discovered that the former Deputy Chief of Staff to the Imo State Governor allegedly attempted to secretly obtain a judgment without the knowledge of the defendants.
The two senior advocates are said to have moved into action to file a defense and respond to the issues raise by Uju .
Meanwhile, people of the Federal Constituency have requested Uju to withdraw the case and accept defeat in good faith.
