A former Governor of Imo State, His Excellency, Chief (Dr) Ikedi Ohakim has been visited by the evil hands death.
Ohakim has lost his brother inlaw, Engr Emmanuel Ahamefule, the elder brother to his wife, Her Excellency Bar (Mrs) Chioma Ohakim.
According to a release signed by himself Ohakim, his inlaw will be buried on Friday, May 28, 2021 in Ahamefule’s home town of Umuneke, Anara in Isiala Mbano LGA, Imo State.
The release said that Late Emma Ahamefule will begin his last journey on earth with a celebration of service of songs which comes up on Thursday, May 27, 2021 by 5pm in his country home, Umuneke, Anara.
On Friday, May 28, the remains of Ahamefule, who was a former Senior Special Assistant, SSA, to his inlaw, Gov Ikedi Ohakim during his administration, will leave the Mortuary for the funeral service in his compound at Anara.
Late Ahamefule is survived by his wife, four children, brothers, sisters and inlaws.
The former Governor uses this forum to call on his Political Associates, Business Allies, Friends, Relations, and others to identify with his family at this time of mourning and sorrow by attending the activities marking Ahamefule’s passage.
