Indications has emerged that government is massively retiring many primary school teachers following its recent verification which started throughout the state on Tuesday this week.
According to sources, all primary school teachers are said to have reported in their various local government headquarters following this all important exercise going on throughout the state as schools were closed down for the exercise. Part of the demands from the teachers are; their NIN, which according to information, government is going to use to determine the actual age of the teachers especially those who are suspected to have falsified their age during employment.
The ongoing exercise, which is being supervised by SUBEB is geared towards creating opportunities for those interviewed unemployed teachers in the waiting list. According to our sources, those who are unable to provide their NIN among other requirements are said to have shown themselves out of the school curricular before the conclusion of the exercise. There are panics within the primary school environment as those who are said to have falsified their ages have been running Helter skelter on how to remedy the situation.
But we are told that government is not mincing words in its determination to, retire all those who are due for retirement and to create opportunity for those who have long been interviewed for employment.
However, all efforts to get at the SUBEB chairman for comments have not been successful as he is said to be busy with the ongoing exercise.
