Ihedioha Donates Bus to PDP Women gets women leader’s commendation

The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, has donated a brand new bus to the women wing of the  People’s Democratic party (PDP). Imo State chapter, to ease their transportation and logistics challenges.

 

The donation of the bus took place at the party’s secretariat in Owerri and was a fulfillment of the Deputy Speaker’s pledge to the women wing of the party.

 

Reacting to the development, the women leader of the party in the state lady Regina Mbonu expressed her profound happiness and gratitude to the Deputy Speaker for his support to women in the party in the

 

She stated that since he came into office she has carried out a lot of empowerment programmes for women in the state and expressed the support of the Imo women to his future political ambition.

 

She also promised to immediately use the bus to flag off the party’s L.G.A and ward tours, and urged the members of the party who have left to come back as the party is now making progress.

 

Lady Mbonu also thanked the other leaders of the party in the state such as Prof. Viola Onwuliri who she said facilitated the tour of some party’s women to Addis Ababa,

I the Ethiopian capital, as well as her contributions to the women of the party and prayed for God’s blessing on her.
