The Management of Imo State University, IMSU Faculty of Law has reacted to the report on the alleged mass failure of students in the faculty.
A lecturer in the faculty who pleaded anonymity stated that the faculty management was embarrassed by the said publication and wondered where the newspaper got the information.
He further asserted that there was no such thing stressing that the scripts of the exams were carefully marked.
The lecturer added that IMSU Law Faculty has been known for its prudence in producing first class graduates adding that the faculty has no time for such thing.
However, in the course of our investigation on this issue, this newspaper learnt that nothing of that sort happened as students who never made it in some courses, didn’t actually study for the said exams.
It would be recalled that this newspaper earlier mispresented the IMSU law results issue. But, after a careful investigation, we found out that there was misinformation as regards that reports even the person credited with the report knew nothing about it.
