
MONDAY TRAGEDY IN IMO; SUSPECTED GOVT AGENCY, ENTRACO PERSONNEL ALLEGEDLY INVOLVED IN DEATH OF TWO IN OWERRI:
It was not a spectacle to behold in Owerri as ENTRACO Personnel, yesterday, hit and kill two persons.
Eyewitness, on condition of anonymity, said the ENTRACO Personnel , operating along St Mulumba by Akachi junction, First bank, were attempting to seize a vehicle when the incident escalated.
The witness said the chaotic struggle to seize and let go caused two young men their lives.
One of the two victims had the legs shattered leaving the ankle in the wheels of a motorcycle.
As at the time of filing this report, the two dead victims were yet to be identified while the said ENTRACO Personnel quickly fled the scene.
The incident sparked public outcry among locals at the scene who called on the state and federal governments to intervene, citing recent instances of alleged misconduct by Imo Entraco Personnel at the Toronto area of Owerri North.
The incident has heightened tensions in the state, with many demanding accountability and justice for the victims.
