Saturday 22nd November, 2025, marked the beginning of togetherness of Hon. Chukwuegu Peter Chidozie and former miss. Ifunanya Stephanie Obiaga as husband and wife.

The two love birds were united in a traditional wedding ceremony, amid pomp and pageantry.

Joyfully present to give their consents were the noble households of late sir and lady Young Obiaga and Mr/Mrs. A.M Chukwuegu.

Trumpeta Newspaper Correspondent who monitored the event noted that dignitaries from all walks of life converged to bear witnesses to the union of the lovers now married couples.

Sen. Osita Izunaso (Senator representing Imo West in the Senate), Hon. Tanana Biaduo, Hon. Ejike Chukwu, Dr. Chijioke Ekechukwu, Hon. Chinedu Emeka (HoR Member, Ahiazu), Hon. Chidi Ojinere, Hon. Chidi Nwogu and a host of other top shots.

The guests prayed for an enduring marriage ladened with love, understanding, tolerance and care among the celebrants.

The groom, Hon. Chukwuegu Chidozie is the MD, Etherion Integrated Services limited.
