The prestigious Main Hall of the esteemed Rockview Hotel in Owerri, Imo State, will be host to a distinguished event on Thursday, November 27, 2025, as the Imo Newspaper Publishers Association (INPA) celebrates its 14th anniversary.
During this ceremony, the association will recognize and honour ten notable Nigerians with awards.
Leading the list of honorees is Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, the Executive Governor of Imo State, who will be bestowed with the Grand Patron award of the association.
Joining Governor Uzodimma in receiving accolades is Ezinwa Stanley Amuchie, who will also serve as the keynote speaker at the event.
Ezinwa Amuchie, the Executive Director and Chief Information Officer at Fidelity Bank Plc, will deliver a speech titled “Diverse Financing Options for Capacity Building in the Print Media.”
Additional honorees include Chief Ejike Lucky Chukwu, CEO of Megadrill Oil and Gas Limited; Senator Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu (also known as Samdaddy), National Secretary of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP); Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, former Chief of Staff at Government House, Owerri; Rt. Hon. Miriam Onuoha and Hon. Canice Moore Nwachukwu (Omeogo), both members of the House of Representatives.
The remaining distinguished individuals are High Chief Mike Ejiogu (Onowu of Igboland), Prince Dr. Alex Mbata, Chairman, ABM Group, and Dr. Chijioke Kaduru, a public health expert.
The association will also seize the opportunity to inaugurate its N200 million Media Resource Centre.
