Ngor Okpala Shows Unity and Leadership in Supporting the Zone

Ngor Okpala local government area chapter of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) yesterday, at a crucial zonal meeting held in Owerri, demonstrated unparalleled support for the Owerri zonal leadership of the party by making the highest financial donation as a body for mass mobilisation and logistics across political wards and local government areas in the zone.

Speaking with one voice, a Chieftain of APC in Ngor Okpala, Okenze S.I Obinna, Hon Mrs Chika Ibekwe, Ngor Okpala local government executive chairman as well as High Chief Dr Chijioke Kaduru, Chief Convener, Nkwa Chi Kwere Movement, applauded the sustained unity and onenes of purpose among leaders of APC in Owerri zone and especially the unity of purpose in Ngor Okpala in their collective support for His Excellency, Governor Hope Uzodimma.

The Ngor Okpala APC chieftains expressed strong belief that the prevailing unity among APC leaders in the zone under the party’s new zonal leadership would bring about progress and victory for the party in the forthcoming elections.

The Ngor Okpala APC leaders expressed immense joy and gratitude to Imo state governor, Distinguished Senator Dr Hope Uzodimma, CON, GSSR for accepting and endorsing the recommendation of Imo Elders Council that the Imo Charter of Equity in respect of the state governorship seat, be allowed to apply in Owerri zone at this point in time.

This reporter gathered that the Ngor Okpala local government area APC leaders under one umbrella as Ngor Okpala APC chapter were prompted to make huge financial donations in support of the Owerri zone APC leadership in realisaton that the Imo charter of equity in respect of elective political offices will prevail widely under the watch of Governor Hope Uzodimma.

The Chief Convener of Nkwa Chi Kwere Movement and indigene of Obiangwu community of Ngor Okpala local government area, High Chief Dr Chijioke Kaduru opened the floor for Ngor Okpala donors with one of the highest donations of the day. Okenze Obinna and Hon Mrs Chika Ibekwe donated one million and two million Naira respectively.

Other Ngor Okpala indigenes also made donations in support of Owerri APC zonal leadership.

It was a clear demonstration of unity from the much marginalised Ngor Okpala local government area in Owerri zone, in their participation in APC and their leadership in Owerri Zone.
