The Federal High Court sitting in Owerri, resumed for business/sitting after the 2013 vacation and has continued on the suit filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) against Rt Hon Benjamin Uwajumogu, Speaker Imo State House of Assembly (IMHA) and some members of the House.
On resumption of the case on Tuesday, the lead counsel of both parties were represented by lower ranking lawyers.
When the case was called up and appearances taken, the case was however adjourned to the 12th of November 2013 by the presiding judge, Justice O.O Oguntoyibo.
However, it will be recalled that Imo PDP had gone to court to challenge the alleged dumping of the party by the defendants after emerging House members on the platform only to defect to the then state ruling party, All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), which according to them is against the electoral laws.
