Complete All Road Projects initiated by Ohakim in Mbaike, Group Tells Okorocha

The people of Ikeduru state constituency is not happy with Governor Rochas Okorocha’s led Imo government over what they called neglect and hatred for abandoning several road projects started by Ohakim’s administration in Mbaike Federal Constituency (Mbaitoli Ikeduru) even when their son, Prince Eze Madumere is the Deputy Governor.
This was one of the seven (7) point communiqué issue by a group known as Ikeduru Supreme Council of Elders Forum (ISCEF) at the end of their meeting which was adopted and signed by their leaders among who are: Hon Prince C.O Omeka, a member of the Board of Trustee, Chief Maurice O Ozuzu.
Other major decisions bordering on issues concerning the general development, protection of lives and property in the area were also contained in the communiqué which include, bringing the political leaders and stakeholders of the area to bury their differences and be on one page in order to eschew any act of political hooliganism.
They advised political leaders, office holders, stakeholders and tradition ruler to emulate the virtues and foot prints of the founding fathers of Mbaike.
The communiqué however frowned at the delay on the Mba River Dam Project at Inyishi-Ikeduru by the contractors and federal government, which has disrupted the progressive flow of the river, causing damage to farm lands, threatens homes and houses in the area, and almost drying up the only source of good drinking water. All these according to the communiqué, has escalated the invading of the area by dangerous reptiles threatening the lives of the citizens.
However, they agreed also to invite and interact with political office holders by Easter 2014 to chat a political and economic course for the people. They also resolved to give support to any qualified and capable indigene of Mbaike federal constituency in the 2015 general elections.
