Oru East Agog As Amagwula Joins Assembly Race, Assures Constituents

The people of Oru East Local Government Area, Imo state under the aegis of All Progressive Congress (APC) went agog over the weekend at the country home of the Transition Committee Chairman of the Council in Umuezike, Awo-Omamma ward 1 as Hon Barr Obinna Augustus Amagwula declared his interest to bring effective representation to the constituency in Imo House of Assembly come 2015 political dispensation.
The declaration which witnessed APC leaders from Umuezike ward 1 and LGA party executives unanimously endorsed the TC chairman for the Assembly race in order to perfect their long awaited dreams of effective representation to the constituency which was carved as “Obinna 2015”
Speaking at the declaration, the Assembly hopeful, Barrister Amagwula expressed his unalloyed gratitude to his constituency for showering him with love and concern in his present position as the Transition Committee Chairman which made it possible for him to carryout some of the task in the council. He enumerated that what they were just seeing is tip of an iceberg as he will unfold more of his projects and plans if finally in the House of Assembly come 2015 as an elected Representative.
Furthermore, he promised to solidify and keep on supporting the great party, APC and their performing Governor whom he assumed to have reached an emulating point popularly applauded by the masses through human, capital and infrastructural developments. Barr. Amagwula added that his representation was poised as a result of the love he has for his people and delayed justice of dividends of democracy which he promised to bring to bare if voted into the position.
The legal luminary also harnessed that he will ensured that no dividends of democracy meant for Oru East will be hijacked, stressing that he will make a positive difference with records of numerous bills to be moved by him which will be beneficial to the people of Oru East LGA, and Imo state at large.
Similarly, Barr. Amagwula solicited for their supports to ensure that his dreams of salving the constituency is brought to fulfillment. However, he promised to serve them with sincerity of mind and purpose and in loyalty, and urged them as APC constituency never to be deterred in supporting Okorocha and the great party as 2015 draws nearer.
Contributing, Chief Chime Nzeribe opined that the declaration of Barr. Amagwula has for long been expected by them. He disclosed that for some months of his assumption as the TC chairman of the council, he has changed the face of the LGA in so many ways which were never expected of at such short period of time. Chief Nzeribe further said that if Amagwula could be given their supports, he will make a transparent representative they will boast of in the history of the local government IMHA,
However, he advised him never to disassociate himself with loyalty and transparency if they give him their votes.
In their separate speeches, Chief Dr Emma Ogbenta, Hon Barr Nelson Ezerioha, Chief Callistus Igboanusi, Chief Benard Nwanana, Hon Chief Donatus Ejifugha, Mr Chizoba Nwagu, Mrs Cecilia Ezeribe, Mr Damian Nwozor among other party leaders assured the hopeful of their supports whenever he call on them.
