Owerri Metropolitan Rotary Club Inducts INPA Chairman, Ojukwu

The Rotary International club of Nigeria Owerri Metropolitan, District 9140 has inducted an Owerri based journalist, the publisher of Nigeria Newspoint Newspapers and the current chairman of Imo State Independent Newspapers Publishers Association, INPA, Elder Lambert Ojukwu as a full fledged member of the club.
The induction ceremony was held last Wednesday March 8, 2017 at Mavis hotel Works layout, Owerri, alongside a legal practitioner, Barr Ogwuegbu Chimeremeze
whose membership was completed on the same spot after he had been inducted recently by the district.
According to the President, Rotarian Jude Okoh Ujah who performed the induction ceremony alongside the other executive members, Anyaoha Chukwuma (President Elect), Nkwopara Chidi (Assistant Governor Designate), Nwadike Kevin (Past President), Anyanwu Kelechi Alozie (Chair, Rotary Public Image Imo State). He disclosed that the newly inaugurated member, Elder Lambert Ojukwu has been a serious, devoted member who has remained faithful and steadfast to the growth and protection of humanity. Rotarian Ujah further revealed that before now, Rtn Ojukwu has been assisting in the dissemination of information and news about rotary without any frivolity. However, the President reiterated that one of the prerequisites of belonging to rotary club is the zeal for generosity and be able to serve God and humanity.

Responding, Ojukwu appreciated the members for giving him the opportunity to be a Rotarian. He added that rotary is a club every right thinking person should join as it is an avenue to serve God and humanity in totality. He therefore promised to uphold the standard of the club and contribute his quota towards the good of rotary club of Nigeria and the public.
