A keen Imolites observer in the affairs and politics of the state has voiced out his opinion in the current happenings in the state, rating the government of Gov.  Rochas Anayo Okorocha and his Rescue mission team high, in ensuring that the activities and government policies are sustained. He made the statement recently in his office in Owerri.

In an interview, Engr. Peter Onyema lbe expressed optimism that the state can move ahead and grow especially with the massive infrastructural development ongoing in the state.

He hailed the governor who he said has done well compared to previous governments, adding that, the free education policy of the governor affected him positively as his daughter who is currently serving, passed through the university without him paying a dime .

The astute business man who stated, that government is continuous added that, the governor cannot do everything, as successive government are expected to justify their stay in office, which he maintained that the current government has done.

He frowned at the claim of people terming government projects substandard saying such language emanated as a result of the efforts of the government, he however said the governor as human is not absolved from mistakes or blames.

He insisted that the need for continuity is the reason for the quest to get a successor, stressing that, the governor has right to produce one, adding that the clamour for Uche Nwosu means the governor has implicit confidence in him and has ability to deliver and not on others who may have disappointed him in the past.

He enjoined all APC warring factions to come together and take advantage of the reconciliatory committee set up by the governor, even as he urged lmolites to continue to support the governor, to finish up, as distractions will only set him back.

Engr. lbe further said that, Rescue Mission are the best thing that has happened to Imo, adding that, the team is made up of indefatigable men and women with special reference to the Deputy Chief of Staff Operation, Hon Kingsley Uju and the Secretary to the state government of Imo state, Sir George Eche, who he said have assisted the governor in ensuring that, the spate of robbery, kidnapping and social vices are reduced to the barest minimum.

Hoping that the State will hit economic boost soon due to the ongoing sectionalization of markets in the State.
