ICT Programe: Okorocha trains over 13,000 Imo Teachers .IMSUBEB Boss Hails Governor For His Great Support To Education Development

Governor of Imo State His Excellency Owelle Rochas Okorocha has continued to do wonders in Imo Schools in line with his Rescue Mission Agenda.

The number one citizen of Imo State who built ICT training centers in the 27 Local Government Areas of Imo State has introduced a special training programe for all teachers in Imo to enable them become perfect with the use of modern computers to upgrade their teaching ability.

The governor as we learnt want to enhance the standard of Education in Imo State by retraining the teachers inline with the modern system. The training will be flagged off soon as over 13,000 teachers from the 27 local government areas in Imo State are expected to benefit from the programe.

Praises has continued to trail the introduction of the ICT training programe for teachers. The SUBEB chairman in the state Hon Barr Juliet Okeafor.

In a chat with newsmen in her office on Port Harcourt road Owerri Friday commended the Governor for the giant strides he has recorded since he came onboard seven years ago, she gave kudos to the governor specially on the development of education, adding that the computer training made available to all school teachers in Imo State will go along way to enhance education and make teaching and learning in our schools faster.

Bar Juliet described Governor Okorocha as the father of modern education and urged Imolites to reciprocate to his good gestures by voting APC for continuity at all levels during 2019 general election.

In her words “the construction and equipping of information technology centre (ICT) in each of the 27 LGAs of Imo State is another mile stone achievement of the state governor” new IMSUBEB chairman submitted.

Speaking further, she disclosed that the centre were put in place to facilitate efforts and intention of the state government in ensuring that all the teachers and leaner’s in the state are ICT compliant. She therefore thanked the governor and appreciates him for giving the Board approval to train over 13,000 teaching and non-teaching staff of the Board.

Speaking exclusively to Trumpeta she revealed that all the ICT centers provided by the governor across the state will be used for the training.

She further stated that the state government is poised to ensure education continues to occupy a prime place on the Rescue Mission government.

She also hailed the governor for introducing and sustaining free education in Imo since he assumed office, adding that Imo people have benefited much and will continue to benefit more from it.

From all indication, Barr Okeafor has transformed IMSUBEB as the place is now result oriented.
