Chief Uche Nwosu’s plan to become the next governor of Imo State may hit the rock if the threats of the National Working Committee NWC, of the Action Alliance AA work out.

The party he is holding their ticket as flagbearer has threatened to stop him over alleged anti party activities, which our source revealed is not going down well with leadership of the party (AA).

Information revealed that Nwosu, apart from facing a court case over  who becomes the true flagbearer of the party in 2019 guber election, the AA is said to have concluded plan to punish him and other Rescue Mission members  who joined AA for allegedly attending APC meetings in the state.

The party’s National Chairman has reportedly threatened to withdraw AA backing and support.

It was also revealed that AA leadership is against the use of President Muhammad Buhari picture in Nwosu’s flyers bill boards and campaign since he is a member of AA and flying the party’s ticket. Trumpeta learnt that the party leadership is aggrieved that after AA has tied a relationship with another Presidential candidate, Nwosu contravened by going ahead with Buhari of APC.

The party leadership is said to have arranged a meeting where Nwosu shall be confronted with these complaints before withdrawal of support.

Efforts to reach the campaign spokesperson for Nwosu was not possible for reactions before press tune.
