Imo First Lady, Ugo Nneoma Nkechi Rochas Okorocha has placed herself under self imposed House arrest and has refused to come out publicly since her son in-law; Chief Uche Nwosu lost the guber seat to Chief Emeka Ihedioha.

Our source revealed that Nneoma Nkechi Okorocha who went round the 27 Local Government Areas of Imo State to campaign for his son in-law bragging how Nwosu must clinch the position and how it is the will of God that he must was highly shocked when she received the result of the election. The result as we learnt made the first lady break down in tears and there after went into hiding and has refused to come down. The governor’s wife has refused to pick calls or talk to anybody since she heard that Uche Nwosu lost. She has refused to break silence nor received any visitors.

All the woman leaders who came to console her and the entire family met the governor and Uche Nwosu but the First Lady was nowhere to be found both in government house and Spibat private estate of governor Okorocha.

Meanwhile there is more confusion hitting the rescue mission camp now as the Governor’s security outfits and some of the agents that worked for Uche Nwosu in the March 9th guber election have began to trade blame to each other for poor performance. It was gathered that some of the agent almost fought because of money which we gathered that was not properly shared.

Some of the agents who felt cheated raised eyebrow over the kind of treatment meted on them by party leaders as they accused the leaders of the Rescue mission of being responsible for the defeat of Uche Nwosu at the March 9th guber polls in Imo.

Report further disclosed that the party leaders who siphoned the intervention fund of the rescue mission mapped out for work in 647 autonomous communities are now on the run for fear of being arrested.
