The United Congress of Mbaise Christians, UCMC – the umbrella body of all Christian churches, groups, associations, fellowships, ministries and individual Christians of Mbaise origin or resident, home and abroad – congratulates our beloved son and supporter, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha (C.O.N), Omenkeahuruanya, on his successful inauguration and assumption of office as the 6th elected civilian governor of Imo State.

In the words of the National President, Evangelist (Mayor) Bright Nnamdi Alaribe, the United Congress of Mbaise Christians, UCMC, is “a structured movement that uses pure Christian values, ethics and dynamic intimate relationship with God Almighty in ensuring the total emancipation of the Mbaise nation spiritually, economically and politically”.

Founded in 2005, the UCMC is not about denomination or church. Rather, it is about a people united in God for the re-positioning of their land to attain their destiny in Christ Jesus.

Since inception, the UCMC has remained unwavering in mobilizing and working together with all strategic stakeholders of Mbaise namely the priests, traditional rulers (Ndi Eze Mbaise) and more importantly, the umbrella socio-cultural body of Mbaise people – Ezuruezu Mbaise.

At various times, the United Congress of Mbaise Christians, UCMC, has organized and hosted Royal and Episcopal Banquets for the traditional rulers and the priests, Mbaise Stakeholders Forum and Mbaise Prophetic Breakfast for the Mbaise elites in educational, socio-economic and political sectors.

With quadrennial “Million Man Crusades, annual and/or biennial seminars, ministers/church workers’ conferences, night vigils and prayer summits, the UCMC has been consistent in ensuring that the people of Mbaise remain totally reconciled to, and worship the Almighty God in spirit and truth.

And the resultant blessings of God on the land and people of Mbaise are innumerable but glaringly manifest for all to see and acknowledge. The flames of spiritual revival remain unquenchable and exemplary.

On the political front, Mbaise, from 2005 till date produced a senator in Senator Chris Anyanwu, a federal minister in Prof. Viola Onwuliri and now a state governor in Chief Emeka Ihedioha.

Yet, none of these happened without a prior prophetic declaration by the God-given prophet to Mbaise, Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai.

So it was that in February, 2018, even when political party primaries had not been held, God’s own Oracle, Rev. Dr. Ukpai directed the core leaders of the UCMC in his office at Uyo, Akwa Ibom State to meet with, and later present to him Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha (he specifically mentioned him) for prayers and consecration as the next governor of Imo State.

Consequently, being direct witnesses that the Almighty God has ordained him, the leadership and entire membership of the United Congress of Mbaise Christians, UCMC, spared no efforts and expenses in ensuring ceaseless, consistent and continued prayer supports and activities through clan prayer summits largely funded by Ambassador Barr. Obioma Success Akagburuonye, night vigils, spiritual court, prophetic actions and the “Mbaise in Destiny Million Man Crusade” with Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai that all combined to remove all spiritual obstacles that hindered past efforts.

The Congress even did what it had never hitherto done by openly endorsing Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha through the mass media, and called on all her members and other Christians in Imo State to vote for him.

The only demand of the UCMC on Governor Ihedioha is that he places the Almighty God first in his administration and delivers good governance to all Imo people. On her part, the United Congress of Mbaise Christians, UCMC, re-pledges her total and unwavering support through consistent prayers and other spiritual cum physical actions.

Once again, Your Excellency, congratulations, and to God alone be all the glory.
