The prime suspect of corona virus disease in Imo State, Mr Christigonus Aguwa Osuagwu is feared dead if reports reacting Trumpeta are considered.
A major disquiet enveloped the State last weekend when reports filtered in that the suspected carrier of the dreaded corona virus slept at a hotel he owned, named Fancy Hotel, at Umuguma, Owerri West LGA, a suburd of Owerri the State capital.
The report has it that when the suspect who owned the Fancy Hotel arrived from abroad last week, he reportedly slept at the hotel before touching few places and left for Abuja after showing signs of illness traceable to corona virus diseased Security agencies comprising Army, Police and DSS were said to have moved into hotel and put the staffers and those found at the premises under isolation, to possibly confirm their status.
Trumpeta learnt that the suspect may have died in the process even as no official report indicates he died out of coronavirus disease.
The suspect was said to have arrived from Europe to Abuja before entering Owerri and slept in his hotel. He was also said to have visited his Alumumium Company located at Azaraegbelu in Owerri North LGA and Obahia in Ahiazu Mbaise LGA before leaving for Abuja where he reportedly passed on.
Also kept in Isolation are his family members and relations whom he may have contacted while around in the State. However, indications are that his family has tested negative to the virus.
This is only the reported case of corona virus disease suspicion in Imo State after the case of the woman who flew in through Owerri Airport to Enugu. Though, she tested positive.
