Lawmaker, Ekeji Donates Raincoats Constituents

n demonstration of her pledge to render dividends of democracy to her constituents, the member representing, Aboh Mbaise state constituency, Hon. (Barr) Lady Ngozi Pat Ekeji, has donated over 500 pieces of raincoat to okada riders she said the rain-coats is a special way of saying thank you to them for their assistance to emerge victorious at the House of Assembly election. she said the rain-coats will assist them immensely as the raining season draws close.  The event which took place  last Friday at Umuopara community primary school, Aboh was attended by many okada riders and was in continuation of her several youth empowerment programmes for her people.

It would be recalled that some few days ago, Olaedo procured about 1,000 bags of fertilizer which was shared to the farming women in Aboh-Mbaise in other to help them boost their farm produce.

In his response, the Aboh Mbaise chairman of okada riders, Mr. Luke Ugo explained that his union were filled with joy, saying that when he received the call that Olaedo wanted to meet them, he said the exco’s were already planning to visit her to thank her for what she has doing.

He however, thanked Olaedo and prayed God to continue to guide her and give her more wisdom.

Also speaking, one of the beneficiaries, Mr. Ejezie Uneze from Amuzu in Aboh, Mbaise LGA exalted the works of Olaedo stating that before now, they have had representatives at the House of Assembly but none was able to do what “Olaedo” has been doing.

He also testified that just recently, she jointly shared fertilizers with Hon Emeka Ihedioha, Deputy-Speaker Federal House of Representatives to all the women in Aboh to improve their farm crops.
