I Don’t Support Sen Hope Uzodimma Guber Bid -Reps Member, Ironna

The honourable member representing Ohaji/Egbema, Oguta and Oru-West Federal constituency at the National Assembly, Hon AG Irona has expressed his disagreement and non-support for Senator Hope Uzodimma’s governorship aspirant come 2015.
Hon Irona stated this while addressing a gathering put together to welcome the Deputy Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha at Obidigbo House along Amechi road, Oguta on Saturday May 24 pledging his support for the Deputy Speaker’s Guber ambition.
In his words “supporting Sen Hope will amount to political suicide and will therefore scuttle my opportunity of being the running mate to Rt Hon Ihedioha. The Deputy Speaker NASS has positioned to run for Governor of Imo state come 2015 and he has tipped me to be his deputy”, Irona stated.
The Oguta born politician however urged his followers and supporters to disregard all his enemies have been doing to discredit his efforts of the moving/sponsoring any motion or attracting constituency projects pleading with them to give him more time considering that he is a first timer at the Green Chambers who is still learning the process and will soon be perfect.
Lending their support to the Oguta PDP Leader, the LGA party chairman Hon M Okedu gave his blessing to Hon Irona’s ambition which was also shared by the secretary AC Nguruako, former LGA party chairman, Mrs Joan Nzeribe and many other party leaders who attended the meeting.
Hon Okedu in his speech stated that Hon Irona will continue to receive the LGA’s party support on his ambition to run for any position come 2015.
Irona who was a one time LGA chairman and State House of Assembly member before surging to the Federal Green chambers in Abuja used the opportunity to promise his constituency members of his intention to do his constituency briefing soon while also promising effective representation.
