Okorocha Sacks IMSU VC, Commissioners, SAs, PAs .Appoints Jude Ejiogu, SSG, Uche Nwosu, Chief Of Staff, Adaobi Obasi New IMSU VC

As earlier reported by this Newspaper that panic was rocking Imo Government House Owerri following rumour that the State Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha was planning to dissolve the State Expanded Executive, the Governor made good the speculation as he yesterday sacked all the Commissioners, Special Advisers (SAs), Senior Special Assistants (SSAs), Personal Assistants PAs and Chairmen and Members of Boards of all Parastatals in the State.
According to a release signed by the Principal Secretary to the Governor, Dr Paschal Obi, the Governor has appointed a new Secretary to Imo State Government, SSG, in the person of Sir Jude Ejiogu and a new Chief of Staff, Chief Uche Nwosu.
Before his appointment, Ejiogu was the Chief of Staff to the Governor, while Uche Nwosu was the Commissioner for Lands and Urban Development.
However, sources told Trumpeta that the former SSG, Prof Tony Anwuka, who is Okorocha’s in-law, has been pencilled down for a mouth-watering post in Abuja soon.
Meanwhile, the Governor has also approved the appointment of Dr (Mrs) Ada Obi Obasi as the Acting Vice Chancellor of Imo State University, IMSU, as she replaces Prof Ukachukwu Awuzie, until a substantive Vice Chancellor is appointed for the Institution.
Before her current appointment, Dr Mrs Obasi was the Commissioner for Local Government and Rural Development in Imo State.
