TUNISIA OPENS OWELLE MOCK – NATIONS CUP WITH MOZAMBIQUE.

Tunisiawill on Sunday the 26^th of August officially kick – off the Owelle Mock – Nations Cup inOjiPrimary school againstMozambique.

According to the fixtures released by the organizers of the game, actions will continue daily in the new venue of the annual event that has recorded a massive followership over the years.

On Monday,Guineain their second appearance will take on DebutantsLibya, whileAlgeriaawaitsBeninRepublicon Tuesdays.

There is also report reaching Imo Trumpeta thatSenegal has been renamed to now feature in the mock – nations cup games asMorocco for technical reasons.

It would be recalled that the mock – Nations cup has been an annual event that takes place at the original venue (Township primary school field) alongWetheral Roadfor the past six years. The championship was moved to Orji primary school as the former venue is currently undergoing a “Rescue Mission” renovation to meet the modern standard environment of education by His Excellency Owelle Rochas Okorocha.

The competition which is organized by the office of the SA on Sports, Amb Kanu Nwankwo, has over the years celebrated the launching of its players to the Nigerian Premier League clubs and abroad. It is a competition that allows all manners of quality players locally or internationally to exhibit their skills and basically allow the locally based players gain much confidence playing with the professionals.
