Ahead of the commencement of the 2017/18 football season especially for clubs in the Nation-Wide League, ISOPADEC Football club has announced Kick-Off of a special screening exercise to fortify their squad.
The two weeks exercise will Kick-Start on Monday November 20, 2017 at Opuoma Primary School field in Ohaji/Egbema LGA and is expected not only to help the team recruit fresh and talented players especially from the Oil-Kingdom communities of Imo State but also affords youths of the area the opportunity to use their time gainfully.
According to a release made available to Trumpeta Sports desk by the clubs public Relation Officer, Mr. Promise Eke, “It is aimed at injecting fresh blood into the team ahead of the all important football season approaching,” the release stated.
It could be recalled that under the innovative guide of the immediate past MD of ISOPADEC, Hon Iyke Uwakwe, the club apart from taking Imo State football by storm after reaching the final four of the state FA cup also got promoted for the Nation-Wide League one haven had an unbeaten run last season in the League.
