MY MUSIC CAREER STARTED IN THE MINOR SEMINARY, ” MR ICON” CONFESSES

An Imo State upcoming music star, Chinomso Michael Okeke popularly known as “Mr. Icon” has revealed that his love for music started as a chorister in St. Peter’s Minor Seminary.

“Mr. Icon” disclosed this fact during an interactive session with Trumpeta Extravaganza in Owerri, where he said that his flair for artistic work didn’t just shoot up, but was inherent back then in the Seminary.

From Ekwereocha Amakohia in Ihitte Uboma LGA, Imo State Michael whose stage name is Mr. Icon, a versatile singer/ rapper who has released some hit tracks.

One is titled “Commando”, another is an award winning single titled “Successful”, and his latest hit single is “Back 2 D Beat”.

He is a 300 level Political Science Student of Imo State University Owerri and is currently aspiring for the post of IMSU SUG DOS.

Due to his passion for music, “Mr. Icon” won the next rated artist in the 2017 ROTAIMSU award, most talented in the 2017 NAPPS award, next rated in the EMA 2017 award to mention but a few.
