The first family of Imo State is cloud 9, not just because the governor Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha is about to spend third month in Government House, but because the First Lady, Her Excellency, Ebere Ihedioha just added a year to her age.
On Tuesday, the governor’s wife was plus one. What however caught the fancy of all was not the little attention it attracted unlike in the past the state got enough vibration for the birthday celebration of the First family but the manner Ihedioha showered praises on the wife for the birthday.
In a tweet governor praised the wife by stating “on this special day, I am proud to call you my dear wife and partner in progress.
“You have been a source of inspiration to me and a role model to many. Thank you for everything and happy birthday”
Incidentally, the birthday event coincided with the kick off of the August women celebration which the wife of the governor will champion after an empowerment show to women in the state.
