MTN marketing gurus in Imo state are making serious bucks from the recharge card business. And that could be the reason why most of them are acquiring choice properties and delivering into hotel business. One of arrow heads in the MTN recharge card business is reported to have acquired another spacious property opposite the disputed Area land in World Bank Area for hotel purposes. For security reasons, POPULAR SIDE may not disclose the identity of the concerned MTN major agent because the said cost a fortune. But one of the millionaire kids on the block also has a hotel in New Owerri. Nobody is sure of what the guy wants to do with the space after coughing out N50m with ease to purchase the land. However, a reasonable number of building materials including rods, concrete clippings and stones have been deposited at the site for a massive mansion POPULAR SIDE notices that the MTN recharge card gurus own Kelvin Suites & Hotels, Pretoria Resort and Ideal Suites, all in New Owerri.
