The administration of Senator Hope Uzodinma has continued to receive a greater boost, as Traditional Rulers from Oru East L.G.A have reaffirmed absolute confidence on the 3R government.
Not only that, the Royal Fathers prayed for his leadership in the State to excel beyond measure.
In a courtesy call made on the Interim Committee Chairman of the LGA on Tuesday in his office, the monarchs submitted that as a trusted son of the soil, he would make Oru East, Orlu zone, and Imo State proud through an effective governance.
The Ezes from respective autonomous communities in Oru East while charging the governor and his appointees on selfless services, pledged their fatherly advise and support when and where necessary.
They also commended the IMC Chairman for his doggedness and humane dispositions in the administration of the council.
Responding, the IMC chairman, Hon (Nze) Nyerere Ogbonna thanked the custodians of tradition and culture for identifying with the shared prosperity government of Governor Hope Uzodinma.
He averred that the present government won’t leave any stone unturned in making Imo great again, which the traditional institution is part of.
Hon. Ogbonna promised to work harmoniously with them, and, to look deeply into any programs or activities concerning the Ezes.
He revealed that as an ‘Nze’, he has deep regard for traditional institutions.
The Oru East born administrator called on the royal fathers never to cease from being partners in progress.
Present at the meeting include the IMC members, and senior staff.
