The Monday incident which saw 15 workers of Imo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, ISOPADEC arrested after protest that resulted to an attack on the convoy of Governor Hope Uzodinma has entered gear five with the suspects thrown into prison custody.
This was as a result of the decline of the Magistrate Court in granting them bail after they were arraigned for alleged treasonable felony.
15 persons were arrested and paraded after a protest march that saw Uzodinma’s convoy blocked and attacked in New Owerri area.
Trumpeta learnt that after the police parade, they were dragged to court but before founding themselves in prison custody.
