The Reform and Advancement Party, RAP, has withdrawn a case it instituted against Governor Hope Uzodinma of the APC.
RAP, through its candidate, Barr Okere Kingdom Nnamdi had gone to court against Uzodinma and six others seeking for an application for the interpretation of section 177 (C) of the constitution of Nigeria concerning the declaration of the APC candidate as winner.
The matter before it was withdrawn was heard at the Federal High Court in Abuja with suit No FHC/ABJ/Cs/677/2020.
In a swift move, Okere filed a Notice of Discontinuance dated 24th of September, 2020 before the case could be heard on 29th September.
